Scholarships and Grants

  • NFCPM provides grants and scholarships in partnership with the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives Bigger Table Initiatives where they have given nearly $100K to help with education expenses, testing and retesting fees, and initial licensing fees.

Advocacy

  • NFCPM supports the efforts of states and national organizations to educate legislators and consumers about Certified Professional Midwifery, the Midwives Model of Care, and the growing body of evidence that supports improved outcomes in community birth settings.

Research and Data Collection

  • NFCPM supports data collection efforts in existing legislation and policy that decreases barriers to quality improvement in community birth care, system integration, and workforce development.
